Doug,

I was unable to reach I. R. today. I had the expectation to a similar degree of a forthcoming Ivax comment and from a P. R. point it would seem in the best interest for shareholders. Regarding insider ownership, the most recent I can find is a 10-405K filed on 3/31/97 @ Edgar - - - - - - -
sec.gov
Make sure you read all the footnotes. The indication is All directors and Executive Officers as a group own 22,177,760 shares or 18.2% before a deduction by my math of 1,308,713 shares or 1.07% equals the aggregate Shares Which May Acquired Pursuant to Exercisable Options Within Sixty (60) Days of March 20, 1997 (Could Be An Interesting Timeframe?). Further, the latest short interest info I have seen was a recent post by . . . . . harkenman (See #134).

I hope this helps.

Thanks
mdp
