I noticed in ZANY's S-1 that 5% of sales in 1998 and 10% of sales in the 1st quarter of 1999 were Beany Babies. I heard on the radio yesterday that TY is retiring Beany Babies (does this mean the current ones and they'll issue new ones????). See link

Also lock up's to be aware of:
135 day's following offering for 1/3 of shares of non-float shares become free (by my calender thats 10/18), the remaining 2/3 come off lock on Jan 1, 2000. According to the prospectus DLJ can take the lock off ahead of schedule (but given the current price I think IPO buyers would shoot them).
Also tangable book after offering cited at 3.95/share
