Hold for Long Term means: Hold this dog stock until your broker retires or you die, whichever comes first, so you don't realize what a dumb buy recommendation it was. LONG TERM means LOSER! I have never seen a stock that did perform "in the lon term' that I couldn't buy later, and kept my money out in investments with a real return (ROI). That's why they call it a market, the marketmaker and specialists on the exchange floor always have or obtain and inventory of these stocks to sell and buy. I can always buy when the company gets its act together, why be the idiot holding the risk for 1 to 2 years LONG TERM. (They did away with capital gains you know).
I never short. However, I expect performance, If I wanted to invest for the long term, I would start the company myself from scratch, at least then I would be able to control its profitability, and prevent it from being cashed burned by insider CEO's and quick buck investment bankers, while the poor "LONG TERM INVESTOR" is left holding an empty carcass of a company. Is it too much to ask or even DEMAND that companies perform? This is real money isn't it, or is it really script?
I am,
Truly yours,
