mariner, there is no one on SI that I respect more than Frank. He is a class act. But the fact remains that Cha2, myself and some others have repeatedly tried to focus discussions here on some of the issues and companies that relate to this space, but unfortunately we were met with little or no reaction.

The good news is that this was probably the correct reaction, since as Moore discusses in the new edition, "According to these [gorilla] criteria, no Internet stock can ever be a gorilla", and therefor this was not the right forum for us to be bringing up SFE, ICGE, etc.

This new Thread is merely an attempt to adhere to the rules as laid down by this Group. When I want to discuss MSFT, QCOM, INTC or the potential Gorillas on our watch list, this is the place for me. But the new forum is probably the right format for the off base and off "GG" topics that I want to work through with some of you, without having to worry if I'm pissing off the faithful, or dragging the discussions to off topic.
