Logica and CrossKeys Sign Agreement to Co-Market Telecommunications Solution KANATA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1999--(NASDAQ:CKEY - news; TSE:CKY. - news)
Companies To Provide
Best-of-breed Network and Service Management Solutions to Global
Telecommunications Customers
Logica, the IT services company, and CrossKeys Systems Corporation, have signed a teaming and co-marketing agreement to bring their combined value to the worldwide telecommunications market.
By co-marketing CrossKeys products and services, Logica integrates CrossKeys software into its turn-key offering of products and services for telecom providers. Specifically, Logica will include CrossKeys Resolve(r) software as part of an overall solution to address customer demand for performance management of carrier-scale networks and services. This provides Logica customers with the means to define and manage service level agreements (SLAs) and analyze network performance.
``Logica brings best-of-breed products together in comprehensive solutions for our customers,' says John Coleman, Logica's UK telecoms divisional director. ``CrossKeys is an industry leader in carrier-scale service and network management software. We maintain our competitive lead in this industry by seeking out ways to enhance the value for our customers. CrossKeys software helps us do that.'
Logica recorded revenue of 473 million pounds sterling in its latest fiscal year and its customers include: AT&T, BT, Finnet, Cellnet and Telecom Italia. The agreement with Logica also includes CrossKeys current and new multi-vendor network management applications, as required by customers. CrossKeys is building from its existing strength in multi-vendor management to break down the barriers among a wider range of telecommunications equipment in networks. Logica and CrossKeys are now targeting prospective service provider accounts for their range of joint solution offerings.
``This relationship with one of the leading solutions companies in Europe means a new channel to market, especially for the dynamic range of European opportunities,' says Ian McLaren, President and Chief Executive Officer, CrossKeys. ``Working together, we can complement Logica's solution offering, enhancing their value and serving customers better.'
