Joan, I have no memory of male bashing by you. I did not accuse you of such. I simply said there was ample evidence of males/male behavior being trashed on the tread. Do you disagree?

I have no idea what discussions you follow here but I don't think you miss much (sort of a compliment). Hard for me to believe you haven't noticed a general circling of the wagons by our females when female issues are on the table (sort of not a compliment).

If you think "girl talk" is condescending, that's your problem. If you ask me to never use the word "girl" in any reference to you, individually, I will respect that.

As for "boy topics" (that's really weak, Joan), I didn't bring up "guns" and think my only contribution was a remark that leaving a gun where your kid can get at it ought to be punished at least as severely as a 1st time DUI.

BTW, Joan, "girl talk" has a meaning of its own and is quite distinct from referring to women as "girls."

There is much about you that interests me and I would like to know more about your experiences and views -- not saying I would agree with one bit, but I do regard you as a person of some substance.
