Wait... I see it. www.minicrawler.com. (Duh.) I've never seen it before. It's neat. The Mini-Me of search engines.

That would be kinda cool to launch just that small window and it would keep the user in SI -- at least until the search results replace the current page. But then again, there are some folks out there who hate to have a second window opened for any reason. I suspect we could find some right around the corner... Are you out there?

But still... the page they're taking you to with "Netsearch" is not the Go2Net home page (the portal), but the Metacrawler page. At least, that's what happens on my system. They are very similar, but not quite the same thing.

By the way, the URL for the minicrawler window is go2net.com, but you shouldn't go there directly because you'll get the small window only if you open it from a link that includes the proper commands to open a new window.
