I can't bring up anything in the navigation pulldown as a separate link leaving si window open...I can only do that with the blue highlighted stuff...this is probably a mac issue alone I think.

Nope. It's an browser+html issue. It can't be done on the PC either. Links in a form like the dropdown are opened in a slightly different and more roundabout way than standard links -- whether they be the underlined text or pictures like old navigation bars at the bottom of the old site.

That's also why you can't choose to open the Quotes box button in a new window. It's connected to an html form, just like the Navigation dropdown.

But if you want something different in the toolbar, you can put it there. You can customize it. Choose "Customize" and then "Toolbars". (I think Customize might be on the default toolbar, but if it isn't you can get to it from the dropdown.) I took "Log Off" away long ago. I also put "SubjectMarks" over on the far right so it's as close as possible to the "Next" button in messages. "NetSearch" is one of the things you can choose to add to it instead of one of the things that's there already.

Example: My toolbar has these items:
Home | Customize | SI Daily | Reuters News | Market Monitor | Portfolio | Inbox | SubjectMarks.
