LOWER STRESS RAISES BREAST CANCER ANTIBODY

Researchers at Ohio State University find woman with breast cancer
who participated in intervention programs showed lower levels of the
stress hormone cortisol. The woman also showed higher levels of an
antibody that fights breast cancer. The results suggest that the
intervention programs - which included training in relaxation, stress
reduction, and coping strategies - may not only aid women
psychologically, but may also help them fight their disease. In
addition, women in the program were more likely than others to get the
full dosage of their chemotherapy, and showed lower levels of depression
and reported higher quality of life.

-- I don't know if this involves STGI in any way, but running a search on cortisol leads me here.
