The view that there is good or bad stuff on a big forward seller like ABX is subjective IMO. I prefer the safe approach that they are using and they are certain to be a survivor in this shakedown AU phase. To sacrifice the safety of their pgm in favor of the good of all the producers/exploration companies is very unrealistic. GATA is entitled to their views but they won't be able to sway the vast majority of investors in the #1 gold company. The cash being generated by ABX will more than make up for the problems associated with the demise of so many juniors, I'm using the assumption that juniors discover the strikes and the senior golds make mines out of them. Not sure if this scenario is true anymore in the new AU paradigm. Manipulation, probably. The smart money is still secure in ABX. Agree with DoubleD that GATA is pissed off because Barrick won't support GATA's initiatives. Would anyone with such a rosy place in the market. GATA still should investigate the real facts of the ABX hedging program. I did and found it quite easy to access the information.
