I checked it out. ATT One Rate Digital can use the technology. ATT with its One Rate Digital is attacking the local loop, even against
reluctance of the RBOCs to open it. Picture that> You seat at your table and use your dial up modem to write to SI
and track CSCO. In the other room your wife, which subscribes to ATT One Rate Digital, can make a phone call
from another phone connected to another RJ/11 jack there.
The mobile terminal of your wife is seating downstairs at that cradle connected to the AC power so that it never runs
out of battery and is always ready to put the minutes over ATT network. This makes your wifes phone ready to call
911 as safely as you RBOC phone too!
