Out come the rubber bands and the paper wad shooters, one of the bullies gives an eagle claw to the skinny kid in front of him, the joker starts making loud, gaseous noises with his armpit and the girl who looks like Alice in Dennis the Menace runs out to tattle. The teacher whooshes into the room with an ear-to-ear scowl and class continues with several pranksters spending the remainder of the morning session with their noses pressed against a small chalk dot on the blackboard. ("Jon Koplik! Stop making those spit stalactites on the ceiling!" "Yes, Sister Ramsey; I will.") Happy long weekend, all! ; )
