Ice, I wouldn't be surprised if there had been animal studies using
rats,where living conditions were continuously made worse, until the animals started lashing out at each other. They could not get at their tormentors. Pure guess work. Must be covered in Psych 101? If someone
wanted to do some extra work, he could determine the percentage of hostile bull/bear posts as a function of stock price delta each day.
Might show a correlation. May have to use deltastockprice/deltaindex.
That is , if stock price is down, but the index is down more - that is positive.

I wouldn't be surprised if several sociology graduate students wrote their thesis based on observations of SI. It's such a nice, closed environment. Only participants change, unfortunately.
