Good morning Fred!

I saw where you were predicting the Lions to get to the Super Bowl this year. What about this scenario...

The Lions get to the Super Bowl. You sit down in front of your TV to enjoy the game. The Star Spangled Banner is sung. The excitement begins. The Lions get the opening kickoff. Boy, is this great.

Then you start listening to the announcers. Something is odd but you can't quite put your finger on it. Suddenly it hits you. BAM! The announcers are calling the game using last year's roster. Their comments are out of touch with today's game. How could this possibly happen? You've patiently waited years for this special event.

Sadly, what should have been a special time (seeing the strategy unfold, enjoying the great play execution, watching the points add up on the scoreboard) loses some of its luster. You have to turn the sound down because the announcers are out of touch with what is going on in front of them.

But you will get through it. Today's players names are familiar to you. The Lions will find a way to win! It was just too bad that the announcers didn't contribute.
