G'day all - hi Jim, it was a 100% stock dividend, the equivalence of 2-for-1 [tax free] stock split in the eyes of the US tax law. Not sure "at what price" has any meaning b/c your cost basis are the same for your position. Of course, your friendly tax accountant should be the expert, not me. And if you are from Canada, neither Ken nor I can help you. Again, your friendly tax accountant should be the authority anyway. The split PR should still be on Nortel Website
