Even more than the analysts Novell needs to get the public on their side. If everyone in a company has heard of Microsoft and none have heard of Novell chances are the person doing the buying will pick Microsoft because he/she thinks that's what everybody wants. An ad campaigne showing Novell to be older, wiser, smarter, better, faster and cheeper than Microsoft would be the best investment Novell could make right now. If they want everyone to use their products then everyone needs to know who they are. Ask the next ten people walking down the street if they've heard of Microsoft or IBM, then ask them if they have heard of Novell. On the lighter side: How many Micrsoft technicicans does it take to screw in a light bulb? None. They declare darkness the standard.
