Larry, your eMachine sounds like my Tandy Computer City WinGen computer a year ago.
It was a lemon. Computer City shutdown;
CompUSA was supposed to assume the Computer City
warranties, but declined to repair my Computer City product,
after I thread through a maze of disconnected phones and
red tape.
