love the Kurlaks, Fleckensteins, Bearkes, Niles, and Tices of the world?
Yes, and remember poor old Michael Metz, who finally packed it in/hung it up. He was so often paired in bull/bear interview sessions with the likes of Joe Battapaglia or Abby Joseph Cohen, and always came out the loser with his predictions over time. He probably was ready for retirement anyway. I wonder how Gail Dudack, the only consistently bearish elf on Wall Street Week for years, keeps employed.
More and more, I think the Internet, which enables anyone to do his/her own research, will water down the influence of these people, anyway.
