Lars: You have always distinguished yourself here as a gentleman and a scholar, and the thread is much the better for your incisive thoughts. Is Brinker being modest? The discussion current amongst the present company is most intriguing and illuminating. Speaking of market gurus, did anyone catch the interview on CNBC with Frank Curzio of FXC Investors on CNBC? Frank has a splendid record on the market and is frequently cited by the WSJ and the NY Post for his market calls. Most famous was his documented prediction and sell signal just before the October 1987 bloodbath. Today, Frank told the viewers to expect a thousand point drop in the DJIA. Curzio reasons that the hemorrhaging Nasdaq will lead the Dow much farther down from present levels. As an additional footnote, I have heard, second hand, that astologer/technician Arch Crawford, who supposedly predicted the exact top of the Dow in March on the day of a solar eclipse, is looking for a veritably steep decline in the market up till 25 April.
