Macro level musings (or why I keep G* in my long-term, nontrading part of my portfolio). At $25, G* is worth about $6B (or much less than almost all of the Internuts which may never earn a profit). G* has the potential to generate billions and billions of revenues and earnings in the next 3-5 years, very high gross/net margins, very high barriers to entry, very long lead times to enter the market, few (no?) competitors, difficult sophisticated technology (CDMA/satellites) to master, worldwide distribution system, sterling investors/partners (largest wireless service providers worldwide), etc. Compare that with any Internut play with millions of web site competitors worldwide and venture capital flooding in virtually guaranteeing a lack of profits for all in the future. I continue to trade the Internuts but I keep socking away more G* for the long-term. djane
