Alltel info re 10/1 G* service availability and $400-700 phones (via yahoo thread) Top>Business & Finance>Investments>Sectors>Services>Communications Services>GSTRF (Globalstar Telecommun.) service providers coming on board by: wwrogers_1998 (46/M/jonesboro arkansas) 11536 of 11537 stopped at local alltel cellular ofiice at lunch to inquire if anyone had heard of globalstar. great surprise, they were very knowledgeable said phones sould be arriving in nest few weeks and service was scheduled to begin on october1. they had heard phone would sell in range of $400-$700. but that was a guess. we have a couple areas here within ten milesw where cell service goes dead, salesman was pitching that i would not lose service with one of these phones. the marketing begin with the salemen at the counter that sells the phone and service, g* is doing their job getting the word out wwr Posted: 9/3/1999 12:46 pm EDT as a reply to: Msg 11530 by Slipcar_trashcan
