Nope! On Yahoo, I post as PartyTimeIsland. And an interesting story how I got that name. A year ago I met a woman who had "Island" as part of her Yahoo posting name. We both had invested in the same stock. During a Thanksgiving holiday visit to New York City she and I met--and we've been together ever since. A story book romance.
It seems to me the poster on Yahoo, to which you're referring, is obviously a MOTO hyper. I don't possess the kind of detailed knowledge this Yahoo poster does. Although I might make folks aware of a particular stock, I won't ever push them into buying it. The poster you refer seems, in my opinion, to be a bit on the heavy side.
Remember, I began this thread stock rating thread in order to discover several prospective stocks; not just one.
Simply put, what I like about MOTO is it's very inexpensive, has a composite indicator rating of 100% buy and there are all kinds of new business opportunities in the photo imaging market. Targets? I think the previously mentioned $5-10 target seems reasonable.
It's my view that picking up some shares around the two-buck mark isn't going to bust me. I primarily play IPOs in the open market, as close to the opening bid as possible. I then strategize with them as they pass through the 30-day quiet period. Where possible, I shave profits into stocks like INTF, ZICA and, more recently, MOTO.
I'm new to MOTO, so please share what you discover about the company. Also, do you have other picks which meet the www.equities.barchart.com 90% criteria? The more folks participating on this thread, the more prospective-type stocks we are likely to find. Could be a good idea to create a portfolio of stocks suggested on this thread and then track 'em, sharing findings accordingly.
In closing, since you opened the door on promoting a particular stock, I might as well get my number one mentioned. It's recent IPO LIOX which is nearing the end phase of its quiet period. This is why I like LIOX: a) low 3.5 million float with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter owning 700,000 of those shares; b) has impressive client list; c) is cutting edge in globilization multi-lingual markets; and d) will likely attract very good buy ratings as soon as the QP is completed. |
