MH: That's the problem - China's banking system is an animal unto itself. That article was way beyond devaluation. It was about a banking collapse and that China's economy/banking system is built on a house of cards that could tumble anytime. The WSJ mentioned the politicians as sucking up a huge chunk of GNP, widespread corruption, money being made out of thin air (phony money), etc. I'm paraphrasing but it was an eye-opener.

FWIW, if China's banks collapse and the article mentioned between $100-200 billion that needs to be cleaned up, we will see another market collapse in Asia and here as well. I'm long and strong on several stocks, Q being my largest holding - but if this scenerio comes to pass, many, many people are going to be severely hurt. I just keep looking over my shoulder at what could derail this market besides much higher interest rates. Good luck to you.
