michael...re: buying dell puts curious to know what strikes and expirations and what premiums tempt you to buy. reality check on performance of dell puts from a seller of same 2/17 dell common= 41.25 zdeml(0160) @ 26 9/3 dell common= 49.00 zdeml(0160) @ 16.125 sold 80 contracts....7.75 move common=9.875 reduction in put 4/21 dell common=38 zdemk(0155) @22.375 9/3 dell common=49 zdemk(0155)@ 12.875 sold 35 contracts......11 move common=9.5 reduction in put not a bad delta in a stock that is basically flat....guess what? premiums from point of sale really didn't increase with stock down to low thirties........
