Burt - Windows NT K6/Pentium Pro Test Results

Tom Pabst from Germany - sysdoc.pair.com - posted some additional K6/Pentium Pro Benchmarks.

I apologize for the appearance of this table, but with a little effort, you can see the results.

From Tom:

2.The Windows NT Performance of the K6

Under Windows NT, the K6 is still making a good figure, although the distance to its competitors from Intel isn't
big at all. The K6 233 is under Windows NT exactly as fast as a Pentium Pro 200, it's much faster than a Pentium
MMX 200, but it's considerably slower than an overclocked Pentium Pro 233 and will most likely be slower than
the Pentium II at the same clock speed as well.

As the data show, the K6 is not the "dragon killer" that AMD has led everyone to believe it is.

The Pentium Pro 200 outperforms a comparable K6-200 in mosts tests (except 16 bit in which the Pentium Pro is known to be weak).
