MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!!! ON TUESDAY 9/7 QCOM IS SPINNING OUT ITS HANDSET DIVISION. I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH MY CONTACTS AT 2 MAJOR NORTH AMERICAN PCS CARRIERS. WHO TELL ME THAT MANAGEMENT'S NOT HAPPY WITH THE DISTRIBUTION STRATEGY NOR THE EARNINGS DRAG. CUTTING HEADS, DUMPING DIVISION - FOCUS ON SOFTWARE & CHIPSETS - PURE TECHNOLOGY PLAY!!!
