Ed, you know my fundamental position on Dell. I haven't seen anything to change my long-term view, so I'm attracted by the price of the underlying. The fact that implied vols are much lower than last time I played this little game early this year is also nice; I won't need as lucky timing to make money (assuming I'm right about the business). Still no fill on my limit order. I'm looking at Novembers and Februaries, 40s and 45s. If the stock comes to me, I sell and take profits, where you scalp premium long-term. I'm not buying the long-dated, deep-in-the-money puts you're offering. And I try not to buy at the ask. <g> -mb
