You can't legislate an atheist to believe in God I would agree with this statement. So let's take it under the assumption that you believe that life came into being by the big bang or whatever method you choose.....if you choose that life was poofed into the universe then seems there is absolutely no way you can say that life does NOT begin with conception..... so in effect you are playing judge of all life(human, tree, three toed sloth, whatever) just because you are reasoning? You can't even cut down a tree without a permit, but snuff out a human life?/ Sure.....go ahead. BTW, you absolutely cannot say it is cut and dried that I would run over anyone if i ran that red light. That is an assumption. So in effect the gov. is telling me to stop IN CASE,I run over someone. I say the same. Same to me. You pay taxes to make sure the gov. keeps that light there to protect you AND others CAUSE OTHERS CANNOT ALWAYS SEE THE WRECK COMING.......say with a child..... He/She cannot see the wreck coming and someone needs to protect them from those WANTING that wreck. dan
