AG speaks on Wd, and there is one other fed scheduled to speak on Tues, Thurs, and Fri. You can bet they will try talking down the market. But, with the big players having been absent from the game during August, I would imagine that the balance of orders is going to be buys since they probably unloaded their losing positions before going on vacation. I expect good things to happen early next week going into AG's speech. PPI is the only economic number of importance next week and it is on Friday.
If it weren't for my QCOM, RMBS, and BBY positions, I would have had a tremendous week. As it stands, i had a pretty darn good week anyway.
You, too, have a good weekend. I am going to try hard to not think about the markets this weekend. There should be no news releases and I ended up pretty well. But, it will be hard to not check in on SI or CNBC. |
