If they're talking about the lowest price of a PC, they may be right. The price spiral that should be of more concern is the ASP of the PC. IMHO, ASP still has a way to go. I was thinking that maybe Intel's recent deep price cuts on PIII are not so much a response to Athlon but a need to enrich the product mix. They may be searching for the price elasticity point that ensures sufficient volumes of PIII? Maybe Intel is competing in their own segmentation.
