Excellent comments Gregg, as always.

I have two questions though.

1. In your post you are saying that there is nothing new in Irwin's comments to Everen. I agree, (almost, that is. See my second question). But if so, then why did they bother to have this meeting in the first place and present this information as if it was something new?

2. You are ridiculing Wojtek's concentration on the components shortages. I agree that his analysis is silly. I think that Snyder's comments two days ago were just stupid. But what about Irwin's other comment about faster than expected erosion of handset prices? This information is new to me, but I am not sure how serious the situation is. I am slightly concerned that QCOM rebates Thin phones to Sprint PCS customers. Why do they do that? If they are at full manufacturing capacity, then why bother with rebates? Will that have any significant effect on earnings?

And again, many thanks for "reappearing". If you have a moment, your thoughts will be much appreciated.
