Yes, it was my mother who saw the suit--and several others--who urged me to buy them, my very prim mother. Including the one you saw and a couple of others.

All she would say is, "It looks so good and it works. (She would never admit the use of sex appeal, to reference our generation, just acknowledge it.)

When you say "biological mother," I think you mean all the "stuff" with one's mother in the growing up years, about which I know all too well! We were very fortunate, my mother and I, to establish a close friendship as adults past the mother/daughter traumas--and we worked like hell to do it.
