I agree with you that many momentum players jumped on VAS today. I also agree with you the article in Investor's Digest had very little to do with today's move. But I disagree with you that investors haven't been accumulating in the past few months. In the past 3 months there have been about a dozen "up-days" with volume over 100K (if I remember correctly). Moreover, I have been posting on this board for about a month and have always mentioned what I perceived to be accumulation and the possibility of a short term pop. I also have read all the posts on this message board and realize you know more about this company than I do (I read the analyst reports but bought mainly on a trusted friend's strong recommendation) and understand that most investors got fed up of this one and decided to move on. The most important thing with biotechs is to be patient, they're nearly impossible to time especially considering the research always takes longer than expected. It seems like VAS could finally be ready to take the next step.

By the way, I don't think you can explain the price/volume action over the last 2 days based on the fact investors decided to take up small positions in this company; why did all of them wait until today, the stock price had been farting around for the last 3 months. I believe there's something in the works although it may take a few weeks/months to find out what.

Any comments appreciated.
