Agreed. Betamaxes aside, Sony's "Stick" web site is exciting. It shows what flash can do in ways that ordinary folk can appreciate. It stimulates the mind and should inspire people to buy flash memory. IMHO, that is a good not only for Sony but for SNDK too.

As to Mr. Wooley and his contention that MP3 is unsuitable, that's HIS opinion ... and -- for the most part -- I agree. At one time I thought that my hearing was failing but a quick trip to the doctor and the local "Hi-Fi" shop proved that this was not true. I am happy to report that CDs are alive and well ... and noticeably better than MP3. IMHO, you haven't lived until you've heard Garth Brooks' "The Thunder Rolls" through $300 worth of earmuffs and a massive subwoofer.
