Go Call Inc. Responds to Shareholder Inquiries
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 3, 1999--In response to shareholder inquiries, Go Call Inc. (OTC BB:GOCA - news) Friday stated that it does not operate any adult entertainment Web sites.
Go Call Inc.'s wholly owned Go Cash subsidiary processes transactions for the online gaming industry, including GoCasino.com and ImperialDragonCasino.com.
Go Call Inc. Friday also announced that the agreement to merge Country Star Restaurants Inc. into Go Call Inc. has been terminated by the mutual consent of the boards of directors of both companies, pursuant to the provisions of the said agreement.
As a result, Go Call will not acquire the approximately 8% of the common stock of Country Star which it does not own. Go Call Inc. has ownership of 92% of the common stock of Country Star Restaurant Inc. Go Call Inc. plans to divest of its non-Internet-related businesses and pursue Internet entertainment and e-commerce markets.
Go Call is an Internet and E-commerce company focused on the Internet entertainment industry. Its services include processing transactions for online gaming through its Go Cash subsidiary, including GoCasino.com and ImperialDragonCasino.com, a banner advertising network (www.gobannerad.com), the development of www.indexus.com, a comparison shopping search engine, and Go Internet kiosks, which will provide public access to the Internet through strategically placed kiosk portals.
