My jaw dropped when the Jets hired him. But then again, it's the Jets. BTW - I think they finally got their man. I'm a big Parcells fan. Even Francesca bought into this bozo. He thought the Philly fans were too hard on Kotite. All it took was time to see the incompetence come out. When I was growing up the Eagles were pretty bad. The turnaround of their fortunes was hiring Dick Vermeil and the game. Well you guessed it "Miracle at the Meadowlands" November, 1978.
