Center for Y2K Strategic-Stability for crisis prevention

Bhupendra Jasani, a remote-sensing expert at Kings College in London recommends the formation of Y2K Strategic-Stability Centers to handle problems at the dawn of Y2K by India and Pakistan. This crisis control center will prevent a nuclear launch by either country. India and Pakistan can face each other and confront with satellite images and ask for transparency and explanations. At the Dawn of Y2K, satellites may become blind and computer glitches could stop flow of data to various nations. This will lead to edginess among nations.

In USA, on New Year's eve, as Y2K dawns, the nuclear nations are gathering at Center for Y2K Strategic Stability Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. "The US will share data coming in from its own Y2K-compliant systems. The idea is that it is in America?s interest to keep sudden blindness from afflicting other nations in time of peace".

There are only a few nations with satellite imagery.
