Good morning, Ish! We had the home inspection yesterday, the house passed with only a few minor things:
The sliding glass doors to the patio both have broken seals in the thermal glass, and the rollers on the sliding door are worn.
The counterweights in 8 or 10 windows are worn, so if you unlock the bottom window, the top window falls down. The counterweights are some type of spring.
There's three improperly terminated wires in the attic, and a couple of improper taps in the fuse box, lines are tapped in, one is for the front doorbell, and one is for a little light in the basement next to the fuse box.
The Honeywell electrostatic filter for the HVAC is inoperable, but that was stated in the contract as not conveying, so we can't ask her to fix it.
The seller's agent suggests that we estimate what these items would cost, and ask for the dollar amount to be rebated.
