Bull Market Report
Banc of America Securities cut its rating on QUALCOMM (QCOM) to a buy from
strong buy, citing faster-than-expected price erosion that may hurt the
wireless communications company's handset business. Increased competition
from Nokia and Motorola and unfavorable component industry shortages are
affecting handset margins. The downgrade comes after another firm, Everen
Securities, said Qualcomm should beat fourth-quarter estimates but not by
dramatically.

COMMENT: Our take on this whole situation is that we have been given one big buying opportunity. Let's see, they are downgrading them because there are so many phones being sold. Hmmmm. Downgrading them because demand is too high. Hmmmm. Qualcomm gets a royalty for every phone that
is sold using their CDMA technology. We've done enough humming! We're buying.
