Constant reminders, classic mistakes.

I have half a dozen bombs in my portfolio performing
as poorly or worse than FSII for as long or longer.
And it's sickening to think how long ago I sold my wad
of Vitesse, a stellar performer if there ever was one.

But I still have trouble getting that part straight about
"Cut your losses short and let your profits run".

My losses in LSI and IDTI ten months ago were truly
disheartening after holding those issues for years.
I don't know what possessed me to average down, but it
looks like I finally did something right.

The last time I averaged down FSII was three years ago
and that certainly hasn't worked out very well yet.
FSII is rapidly becoming an insignificant fraction of
my holdings. This time I'm resisting the advice to
"rebalance my portfolio". But if I ever see FSII insiders
scooping up cheap shares, I might be tempted.
