Glad you knew that detail. I was unsure. Part of the Qwest argument was that they will divest/don't have any assets in US West territory to get FCC approval. I doubt they did it that quickly, but maybe they removed the assets from their website? Or maybe the argument is really valid? I don't know.

I was wondering if someone would pick up that detail and you sure did. It's a critical fact to get approval, but God only knows how they connect if approval is given? I'm speculating they are just preparing for the time they don't have to worry about the 1996 Telecom Act anymore. And maybe they can re-purchase the links or build them.
