IMHO there was a perception that the internet was leaving Intel behind. Andy and Craig don't look too internet-hip. But they ARE, and so is Intel. The steps that Intel has taken in the last few weeks to become and stay a major player in the internet are leading to higher PE's for the company. Companies that are perceived to be survivors and thrivers in the net's future are getting and will continue to get higher PE's.
