I'll tell you what I've been telling everyone else that brings this up: You seriously underestimate Coppermine's ability to scale in raw MHz.

PB,

I would love to believe you. You may be right given Intel's technology and financial muscles. However, Intel is very tight lip on their developments and products, even on its employees. Also, aren't you on the 0.25um guy? How would you know so much about the scaling of 0.18um and the Coppermine? This product has a redesigned/improved core.

Please note that I am not trying to pick on you. I am just tire of "I know something but I can't tell..." thingy. To be impartial, this includes everyone else.

BTW, you should spend more time and get the 0.25um PIII to 700 mhz instead of chatting on SI. This serves two purposes:

1) Shut those AMDites up and who really got the fastest x86.

2) See if AMD is sandbagging the K7.

Best regards,

-KL
