That is quite a joke. On the day that Tony#2? came here last week, I did my usual DD, documentation and investigation. . .and decided to see exactly how much A&P is charging people like you for stock picks that you could just as easily learn to do yourself.
Note: We stopped making such "picks" many months ago. You do know that the SEC is cracking down on ORGANIZED BANDS that MANIPULATE STOCK PRICES. We go that extra mile here on this thread. . . the many regulars here help me to teach others HOW to trade for themselves and think for themselves and not be fooled by the many charlatains that abound in cyberspace. . . promising they have the "road to riches."
So to answer your question. . or rather accusation. . . about the middle of last week, I explored A@P's registration area to see what all the fuss was about. I was describing what I saw to a very interested party, I was speaking with on the phone. . .I went about as far as the disclaimer. . .and his rate page. . . but never filled out any customer information and certainly never submitted an application, for heaven's sake.
And if you believe that I did, then you bought a lie. . . .and from the looks of it, you paid one huge amount of money for it.
Tell me if I have it right. . . there are two memberships? One is $600.00 per month and the other is $5,000.00 per month?? And on that one, for $60,000.00 per year, you are led to become a "GURU"????
Is that even legal in that state?

First, #daytraders Irc is totally FREE. You pay HOW MUCH per month to follow A&P? So tell me. Who is the bigger sheep? Wouldn't it be cheaper just to learn how to trade for yourself, instead of following blindly?
Second, I have not logged into #daytraders Irc, since my other computer went down about 2 weeks ago. . . the one with the IRC software and all the codes.
Third, when you say "for us" . . .are you saying that you were sent here as a representative for A&P? And what, pray tell, was the purpose of your excursion? To try your hand at stirring the pot on the HOME thread? For what reason?
Franz. . .you aren't the first to be sent here. . . .in fact, you are about the 4th or 5th this week. . .that were sent here to try to 'raise a little hell.' If you haven't figured it out yet. . . starting wars with the likes of TokyoJoe or Jenna, etc. was a form of MARKETING.
Question: How does a 'gang' build its membership?
Answer: It goes around picking fights to try to show everyone how bad it is.
Think about it, Franz. I am over here playing stocks like A.T. and T., General Instrument and Intel. . . . . and the last week of July and the first 10 days or so of August. . .my biggest holdings were gold stocks. . . rode them up 25 percent.
Are you with me? Are you even aware that most of what we do here is POSITION TRADE???
Do you even know that we play stocks long and short?? Do you know that we build long-term portfolios??? Do you have any idea how many hours I spend teaching people how to not get ripped off. . .and how to avoid letting themselves become "blind sheep"??? Heck, I coined the term "blind sheep".
Do you know that I have been involved in helping expose penny scams??? Did you know that each February I sponsor and host the Annual SCAMMY Awards. . .where we make fun of the ridiculous scams that were perpetrated on the public by presenting awards for the SCAMMIEST STOCKS???? For that matter, I coined the term "scammy" too [with regard to stocks]. . . I guarantee you will not find a single reference to the word anywhere on SI, prior to my announcing the First Annual Scammy Awards. . .right about New Years Day of 1999.
Is it possible you were lied to???? Were you told that I pump or hype stocks?? . . .or that I even ALLOW that sort of thing here??
If so, you owe it to yourself to glance back 3 or 4 months worth of posts here. . . or just look at mine. . . for that matter. . .read the posts on my profile for YOURSELF. See with your OWN eyes what the REAL "truth" is.
Oh, yes. . .I definitely do some scalping of momentum stocks, just exactly the way you do. I was fortunate enough to grab some extra PARA around 2 bucks and rode it up to 6 in a matter of minutes. . .then I sold it at around 5 and 6 bucks per share for a quick scalp. . . and walked away. What is wrong with that? And then I bought some IATR and sold it the next day for about a 75 percent gain. I posted my buys and sells. . . .and very few here even pay attention when I daytrade, because we are mostly all position traders. . . .looking for longer term longs and shorts, depending on market conditions and trends.
Those two were daytrades. . . But I certainly didn't make "calls" on them for other daytraders to buy them. Someone did on a chat room somewhere. . .PROBABLY on #daytraders. I merely jumped on the back of the momentum that came from daytraders, the same way you jump on the back of downward momentum. . . and I was lucky enough to get in early and out early. . .
Now I am out of both. . . . for clarification sake. .that means I am no longer trading either stock actively. . . I still have some "free" shares in both stocks [among many others] that I've had for months. . . I generally hold free shares until I see about 10 bucks/share. . . that usually represents a 5 or 10 bagger. . . just another trading style.
Are you still with me? Do you see some way that I am offending you personally? . . . or you as a daytrader, by my trading activity??? And if you don't see a problem with my trading methods. . . then once again. . .why were you sent here?
So. . . when you report back to your "leader" . . . instead of giving them a report, perhaps you should ask the many questions that are no doubt running through your mind about now. . . or should be.
