The posts seem to be growing geometrically. This is truly amazing and, on the whole, far more useful than UF and others may have initially expected.

I've been away for a few days, and it's been a struggle to get caught up. I was able to exit RMBS at an opportune moment, and did get back in at another...so I'm feeling quite lucky. Couldn't bring myself to doubt the Q however, so like many I've taken a paper hosing....for now. I have no doubts as to the future return to higher levels.

I do wish there was a mechanism by which we could discuss these companies in market groups. Someone remarked that a comment on company A in group 1, followed by company B, in group 2 was confusing. Yes, it does numb the sensitivity after a while. Perhaps our ringmasters might do some sorting. The header could be the place to do this... establishing portfolios in each of the groupings outlined by Mike. As we talk about JDSU, (for example) we could look back to see what other companies operate in the same space, and that would give us a sense of context. Not a perfect answer, but a start. That might lead to each of us following, for the group's benefit, a particular category, perhaps including a brief overview of the category, and possibly a spreadsheet comparison of the companies and their progresses. This would have the additional benefit of continuing coverage of companies that are less frequently mentioned. Does this appeal,or not appeal, to anyone?

BTW Uncle, have you yet entertained the idea of our writing the thread's version of Beardstown Ladies? Heck, isn't it time we started collecting our own royalties?
