Strikes back? Hmm.... I don't think so. Strikes again is
more accurate. Using his bully pulpit at TheStreet.com
he is able to disseminate his slanted and warped POV
without any response. Pretty disgusting if you ask me.
Using one so-called "study" from three "professional
listeners" (are they being paid to listen? If so I wonder
who is paying them...) to say that MP3 is as good as
EPAC or any other codec is like saying thalidomide is
good for you because a doctor in Freemont CA. said so.
Of course he conveniently fails to mention content. If
MP3 was so good then why aren't the music labels encoding
their libraries with it? I guess SONY missed the
message too. They just announced that their forthcoming
Netman won't support the codec either. Hmm.... guess
they've missed the boat. Tsk, tsk. Security is another
little topic that Mr. Seymour conveniently fails to
mention. I suppose it will be MPfree forever then.
The public can forget about the other 98% of all music
files as they will never be encoded for digital
downloading.

Cheers (NOT!)
