re: Dare I ask... why you list LMT among your favorite stocks? Good question. I must have felt that way when I bought it (which was when I entered it in my profile). It has not performed as I expected but I am still holding and would buy more around 33-34. Keep in mind LMT is a major player in the US defense sector. In the 80's I would not even of considered investing in LMT but, since so many defense contractors have exited the market, LMT looks like the only game in town. When the US Government start pouring $$ into defense (which will happen eventually), LMT will be the recipient.
