Guess my bottom line is I'd just get a major headache trying to figure who/what/where the crowd is pre and post split. On a stock chart, it doesn't matter. Even the volume gets distributed back through all splits so you don't even notice.

Most stocks in uptrends eventually zoom through prior resistance. Usually splits are only announced for stocks in uptrends. So which came first, the chicken or the egg <g>.

I imagine a split is just one event that defines the timing of breakouts.
