Mike: The TA shows support at $162. Of course, the price can go in either direction from there. At $160, the stock is trading at 40 times EPS for 2000. Balance this PE with the growth rate of 200% for the Sep quarter YOY comparisons. Let's use $0.30 for the 98 Sept quarter and $0.90 for the 99 Sep quarter. That gives you a PEG of .20 -pretty cheap in my book.

I don't think it's counterproductive to think what could of happened had we been fortunate enough to sell our position at $198 the other day. There was a lot of expectations being built into the stock. However, there are many other issues that no one is considering. I'll mention a few.

Mexico and Brazil are going to be great markets for wireless. QCOM has the vast majority of the market locked up for itself. The same is going to be true in Russia, Eastern Europe, India, China, and other developing nations.

Much of the reason for QCOM's poor performance last year was due to the meltdown in global financial markets. No one is factoring in QCOM's opportunities into these markets. We are still basing our expectations for QCOM in the markets in Korea, North America, and Japan. However, as the opportunities present themselves next year, there will be ample opportunity for QCOM to deliver significant revenue and EPS growth.

Good luck with the charts. I prefer reading info from the CDG website to help me keep the big picture in perspective.
