E, not to argue any point you may have been making, but I would like to add a personal opinion about masculinity. I hope X will suffer another war reference on this account.

In bad situations some people keep moving, doing their duty, sticking their head up and firing in the direction of the incoming (by no means do all do this). My point is that size, swagger and commonly perceived macho cues (or their absence) will often fool you big time.

There are also guys with stones the size of grapefruits that are as gentle and sensitive as anyone you could imagine.

I'm glad you spoke against stereotypes.
